Saffron Walden Classic Car Show 2011 - 14th August

My turn to head south for the Saffron Walden classic car show. First I had to drop off my grandson in Saff City (local nickname) before heading into the show. Alan had already arrived so I parked up along side him and put out our club gear. We had a very good spot at the top of the common with a splendid view of all the cars assembled below. The show gradually built up as more and more cars kept arriving in a steady stream. We had some very tasty cars to view both old and new, spotted a beautiful E type Jaguar in first class condition CIRCA 1967. Our club was asked to take a couple of minis into the show arena and talk about them. The MC handed me the mike and I waxed lyrical about Mortie - not too long mind you. Next year this show is moving to Carver Barracks on the old Debden airfield a couple of miles out of town. So, until next year This is Maddy signing off on behalf of the MFU.........PS: hope you enjoy the pictures.
