Stanford Hall - 13th September - 2009.

Our club arrived at around 09:40 and found ourselves directed to a pitch by the river.Today I am doing something new by uploading this report direct from Stanford Hall. I'm pleased to say that the weather is behaving itself with sunny periods and a decent temperature. The only thing that is spoiling this report is that I forgot to load my image editing software onto the computer last night, so there is only one image to view. I'll resize the remainder tonight and add on all the other images at a reduced scale. As to the show, brilliant as ever with many delicious minis around especially in the concours area with their owners busily polishing away. We had a splendid pitch right beside the river and close to the aforementioned concours area. Due to battery limitations on the laptop I'll wind up this report and will expand tonight - so watch this spot.

As promised here are a selection of images processed on my desktop, most were taken in the concours area and all the cars are a real credit to their respective owners. Take a gander at the mini fitted with a 1600 Lotus engine, this chap had made a transfer plate between the Lotus engine and retained the standard mini flywheel assembly. This is some engineering job and must have taken him ages to work everything out. It really is special. Having done the Stanford hall show since 1995 it has retained that special spot in the mini community - here's to 2010. That's all folks ENJOY. This is Rover signing off for Mini Folk United. Just found some more images, so have added them to this report.

Just look at this Lotus engine
