Mini In The Park - SantaPod 2008

All the weather men reported a wet & windy weekend but they were all wrong so that we did not rename the show Mini in the mud, It was a dry warm day. When the show moved from Oxford to Santapod the trade & autojuble stands have shrunk but all the show cars were immaculate as always. Our first stop was the autojumble kevin picked up a starter motor for £15 but did not find a MPI expansion tank I picked up my order from Somerford a new fuel pipe then on to Huddersfield for 2 sets of wood & picket wheel arches one for me one kevin. Took all items back to the car which was parked a long way away then back to have a look at most of the cars but there was far too many. Watched minis go up the strip (boring). Only one mini trying the autotest then on to the mini cross. Finally we headed off to the car and home.

This is Martin Hayes signing off on behalf of MiniFolk United.

The Jet car was so quick that the camera missed it
