Two Counties Motor Show July 2nd - 2006.

Phew! 33 degrees in the shade at Rowley Mile Newmarket for the Two Counties Motor Show. For this reporter quite the hottest day so far this year. No energy and very little walking in the bright sunshine. We had a respectable turnout with some 6 cars on our club stand. We lost our chef for the day as Cris was in Devon visiting his mother, so Nicola took over that chore. The Bacon butties were top notch, so well done to her. Don't have many pictures this time as muggins here forgot to charge the camera battery last night. We decided to leave at around 4 O'clock as we were all too darn hot. Nicola had a small problem with Boris (clubby estate) on the way home. We found her halfway through Newmarket with the hazard lights flashing. Very briefly the bottom petrol hose had split and she had ground to a halt, luckily I always carry a length of petrol hose and jubilee clips as this has happened to me too. Within 8 minutes it was fixed and back on the road again. That's it folks.
