The old fender was cut off and the matings surface's made good, next the new fender was offered up and adjustments made until we were happy with the fit.Holes were drilled in the fender for us to puddle weld through. As Harry was not too good at welding I was entrusted with this job. Soon a nice line of puddle welds were in place ready for grinding down. Harry took notice of the technique and did the inside welds plus putting on the little strengthing plates. Not a bad job seeing he was new to the art of welding.
Finally the fender was rubbed down and painted with black primer, he's going to paint the whole car soon as there are other minor dings to be filled. ...... Maddy
