Hello everybody, just a few brief notes for you. 1) Mini Neon - This car has enjoyed a period of trouble - free running, but it'll need a bit of work next month. The Jungle drums were beaten and the club's "spares network" has come with a fuel tank, a Carb and more than one windscreen. Thanks guys! A small rust hole appeared in the tank filler neck over Christmas, (that eplains the smell of petrol) whilst the screen picked up a disfiguring chip on the way home from a show last summer.

2) Mini 1100 special - My 1979 Mini 1100 special has been sheeted up for two months. It runs but has not been on the road for years. Somehow the car cover stayed on during those vicious winds we had in January. By the time you read this I'll have started the car - something I haven't done since the cover went on. I've also tracked down a rusty 1980 clubman which I may buy to strip for spares for the other three minis.
