Norfolk Mini Owners show 2008
08:15 and our convoy hits the road to Fakenham and the Norfolk Mini Owners show 2008. Most of us had a distinct feeling of Deja Vue because of the stair rodding rain and wind which was a feature of the 2007 show. However, we mini owners are a hardy lot and braved the worst of the English weather yet again. Despite the rain the show was well attended and most trade stands were doing a steady trade. Our poor Gazebo was really suffering and around One O'clock two of the metal struts parted company followed a few minutes later by more, at which point it nearly collapsed on us. We managed to patch it up with some Ty Raps but were really fighting a loosing battle. In the end we took it down and finished the poor thing off which was then dumped in the nearest waste bin. We managed to bunk down with HAMOC for a while before deciding to call it a day, pity really as we were quite enjoying the show. Let's hope that Norfolk Mini Owners Club have better luck next year - We'll be back. Finally, hope you enjoy the pictures - not our best this year due to the rain and general gloom.
