Norfolk Mini Owners Show - Fakenham 2006.
Today (sunday 28th May)club members of mini folk united made our annual pilgramage to Fakenham in Norfolk for one of the best local shows around, namely the Norfolk Mini Owners club. This show gets better every year with many varied activities going on. As usual after the club stand was up and the bunting flying it was time for the obligatory bacon butties to be cooked and distributed to club members - yummy! Now onto the show, auto jumbles were quite busy as mini enthusiasts hunted for that elusive part. There was also a fair selection of trade stands selling just about anything to make your mini look and perform better. Although it didn't rain the wind was very strong which lowered the temperature somewhat, when the sun did break through it showed just how warm the day could have been! We'd like to thank our hosts for yet another brilliant show - we'll be back next year.
Cris gets down to the serious business of cooking the bacon butties.
John has been buying yet again.
This car gets our vote as the best in show. You'd actually have to see it in the flesh to really appreciate the work which has been done.
