Mini Directory Meet - 22nd & 23rd September 2007

Not only am I a member of mini folk united but also The Mini Directory and today I visited our meet at Soham, The event was held over Saturday & Sunday. Unfortunately I could not go on Saturday due to a prior arrangement but, by all accounts a merry time was held by all with much beer being consumed. I got there at about 10:30 as they were just finishing breakfast. Soon we started some games, these included the most doughnuts to be eaten in a given time, balancing water on your head and getting the contents to a bucket without spilling a drop, then we had the water babes in their Bikinis washing car's - really hilarious! After we had all calmed down from the high jinks it was time for the awards to be given out, for all who had taken part in the games etc medals were distributed. John Burton won the main prize of a splendid cup for being the spirit of Mini Directory. Next year promises to be even better. A really good meet. Bye for now Maddy
