Littleport Village show 25th July 2009

What a glorious day for a village show, hot sun and no rain. Alan came up from Bishops Stortford for the day getting to me at around 08:45. We had a short drive of about 300 metres from my house and parked up on the show ground. There was a good collection of classic cars on show, our two minis plus Marcus from Ely with his and another from Littleport making 4 in total. As usual I had brought along my little gas stove and soon had breakfast cooking away. A classic car owner alongside of me was really envious with the smell of bacon setting his taste buds all of a quiver, Yummy! The show was well attended with many events taking place all over the show ground. The classic cars did a tour of the arena with commentary. It was so hot that I had to go and buy a hat to keep my head cool. Later on we were treated to a spectacular display by the Mega Minis stunt team - really hilarious with the antics they pulled. After the raffle results Alan and I departed from yet another brilliant show. Maddy
