Littleport Village Show - July 26th 2008

A complete contrast to last years Littleport show when it rained on & off for most of the day - this time it was really, really hot too much for me but Alan lapped it up. The show was well attended with hordes of people wandering around, Peter Mitchell was in charge of the classic car and agricultural vehicles and as usual it was well organised. There was a splendid display of heavy horses (Suffolk Punch) resplendant with their horse brasses's and painted waggons. I took Boris along which in hindsight was not a wise move as the internal temperature was like an oven, probably due to it being all Black! After several walkabouts in the blistering heat I reached my limit, have never drunk as much water as I did today. Another brilliant show. Enjoy the pictures folks.
