Kimbolton Charity Classic Car Show & Country Fayre - July 19th 2009

Kimbolton Country Fayre and classic car show is one of our highlight shows of the year. Unfortunately the show was marred by rain, mizzle and high winds at times. We arrived at around 08:30 and in short order the club stand was up and the cars parked around the gazebo. As usual Maddy had brought along her gas stove and soon club members were treated to hot dogs, burgers and bacon rolls, this year she remembered all the utensils and as a bonus a bottle of tomato sauce. As mentioned the day alternated between sunny periods and rain. Maddy went walk about and was caught in stair rodding rain and turned up later looking like the proverbial drowned rat! Boots soaked through, jacket and trousers waterlogged and hair giving a good impression of Niagra falls running down her face. Needless to say not many pictures were taken, but do enjoy those that were.
