Barrington 2008

A very brief report on the Barrington Vintage, veteran, classic car showing 01/01/2008 - Made my way down to Barrington in Mortie the 66 Cooper which I'm pleased to say behaved himself. I was the first to arrive and I wondered if I'd made a mistake? Not to worry, cars started to trickle in not long after. Soon the green was awash with cars from 1905 vintage to more modern classics from the 1980's. I was so busy wandering about and chatting to various car owners that I didn't take that many pictures. Monty one of the organisers was very busy with a large bucket collecting money for a local charity, I'm pleased to say that most people readily coughed up with coinage and notes. I must thank Monty for yet another splendid display of cars. This year seems to have broken all records with the massive turnout of cars, only wish I could have taken more pictures, never mind enjoy those that I did.
